They refuse to pay me for my tickets

AI Highlights
  • - Funds from sold tickets were never transferred.
  • - Support said payment was sent, but I didn't receive it.
  • - No resolution after follow-ups.

Not news. Brutal company to work with.

Original review May 06, 2025

I used this platform to sell event tickets, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Although the tickets were successfully sold, the funds were never transferred to me.

When I contacted their customer support team, they claimed the payment had been sent; however, I never received it. Despite multiple follow-ups, they offered no meaningful assistance or resolution.

Based on this experience, I strongly advise others to exercise caution and avoid using this platform for buying or selling tickets. The lack of accountability and customer support simply isn't worth the risk.

Horrible customer service experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Their website won't let me buy tickets for the event.
  • - I reached the help line and had a horrible experience with long holds.

Their website is not working for the event I want to buy tickets for, so I reached out to their help line, and it has been a horrible experience. I've had to call the line multiple times because they don't listen when I tell them I've tried their 'fixes.' During my last call with them, I was put on hold for over an hour and a half, and it would have been longer if I hadn't hung up myself.

Cons:
  • Everything about their company practices

Preferred solution: I want to be able to get my tickets.

User's recommendation: Don't use Live Nation. it's not worth the time, money, and hassle. They are scams and don't care about their consumers

Bait and Switch

AI Highlights
  • - Tickets moved from section 300 to 700; required Live Nation app.
  • - No refunds or accountability; I was placed in a far handicap section.
Contains 1 confidential file for company representatives

Purchased two seats in section 300 for the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert, I was forced to download the Live Nation app to retrieve tickets. They were switched to section 700.

Two other people had tickets for these seats. I got stuck in the handicap section, so far over on the side of the stage that my neck is still stiff from trying to see the concert. No refund, no partial refund, absolutely nothing.

It's not bad enough that they kill us with the prices, they also have zero accountability for their wrongdoings. It's time to stand together.

User's recommendation: Class action lawsuit

LiveNation REFUSES to issue refunds for unexpected emergencies and illnesses

AI Highlights
  • - Could not attend a LiveNation concert due to illness and a dental emergency.
  • - Ticketmaster says refunds are only allowed if the event is cancelled.

After my recent experience with a concert organized by LiveNation, I have no desire to return or to support them. I became severely ill with COVID-19 this past Friday (9/27/24) and also experienced a dental emergency the same day, so I ended up being unable to attend the concert I had tickets for that evening due to obvious extenuating circumstances.

I reached out Ticketmaster to explain my situation, and they said the event organizer flat out refuses to issue a refund to me. Apparently, the only situation they will do this for is if an event is cancelled. So, buyer beware!!! They will NOT refund your money!!

LiveNation cares more about money than about people being responsible and caring to not knowingly expose others to COVID-19. Shame on you, LiveNation!!!

Loss:
$94
Pros:
  • Monopolize the concert industry
  • Which leaves no choice
Cons:
  • Everything about their company practices

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Avoid LiveNation if you can

Terrible, unprofessional and beyond rude customer service/management at Live Nation resale department on chairs not received but made me pay for lack of training on employees at Ridgefield Amphitheate

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Only my 2nd concert ever at Ridgefield Amphitheater within 1 week of each other. We had an emergency and only arrived 20 minutes after Chris Stapleton started we were told by young employee chairs sold out but Live Nation will not refund my money because employees trained inefficiently and they making me pay because the employee should have told me to check other chair stations.

We had zero idea we were told chairs sold out. On top I have email correspondence and she got ruder by the minute and now she says nothing and Im charged. How is this even allowed to treat a new customer as such?

That could be my last concert on resale because of her and her alone. One bad apple can spoil the bunch.

User's recommendation: Don’t expect customer service if you have an issue money just taken.
